January 1st, 2019
Happy New Year!!! from all of us here at The Place. We celebrated in style with a great crowd and some great live music from Lee Jay. The whole evening had a lovely atmosphere and it was great to be surrounded by all our regulars and locals, so for that, thankyou.
But sadly that does signal the end of our 2018 season and we are now closed until February. During this time is when we deep clean the whole resturant, and this year we intend to update a bit with a lick of paint and some new lighting.
Until then, thankyou for being a part of our 2018 season, and we look forward to seeing you all next season

It's christmas in full swing here at The Place. We've got our decorations up, and we are gearing up for our first christmas party happening tomorrow night featuring our stunning three course christmas meal and live music from Dave 'Elvis' Stevens with his brilliant tribute to the king of rock n roll.
We still have space available so if you just fancy coming out for a drink and a dance then come join us.
Next week its Tony Strange on Friday and then The Robbie Experience on Saturday. Don't forget all our party nights include a raffle, virtual racing and a disco after showtime.
As always make sure you check our facebook page for the most up to date information, and remember wherever you are, look after each other in this cold weather.

'Finally' you all sigh. Your entertainments listings are online and confirmed in what is gonna be the best year ever at the Place.
Below is the flyer that will be going out to local bussiness' and will also be available within the bar however, if you can't wait that long for them to be printed out, jump over to the entertainments page. We have slideshows for each month showing whos on.
A quick note though, they are best viewed on a laptop or ipad. You can still view it on a mobile device but some images won't be displayed properly.

So, its gone a little quiet down here in Brean, but we are still open and still serving
delicious hot food every evening from 5pm onwards.
Weekends, we are still open from 12pm and on Sundays we still serve our famous carvery.
In other news, our Saturday nights in November are being put to good use. We are holding race nights to raise money for local charities, with each Saturday being dedicated to a certain charity. Please do come and support us and the charities . We will be having many races and a fun raffle with all profits going to charity. This Saturdays (10th) will be to raise money to help volunteers take out less abled people on days out.
Other than that, we are still taking bookings for our christmas parties and if you'dlike more information, then head over to the entertainments page to find out whats going on.

November 15th, 2018
The nights are getting cooler, longer and wetter but we are still warm, dry and open five nights a week. The kitchen is still serving food however the menu is now our scaled down winter menu in order to guarantee freshness and quality.
The kitchen is open from 5 till 8:30 pm wednesday and thursday and friday and saturday from 12 till 9pm. Sunday of course we still serve our sunday carvery till 3 and go back to our liited menu after that till 6pm
In other news, we held our first charity night on Saturday just gone and it was brilliant. Great fun was has by all and a lot of prizes were given out. It the end we were extreely proud to hand over £300.00 to the charity who were overjoyed and very clearly humbled by everyones generosity. From all of us at The Place.
So what's next? Well this Saturday we will be holding another charity night, this time in aid of Children In Need. As you all know the charity is fantastic and means a whole lot to a lot of people, especially us here in The Place. So come join us for some fun, games, races and more this Saturday from 7:30pm.
